1,220,572. Leaf spring suspensions. YORK TECHNICAL SERVICES Ltd. 2 Feb., 1968 [3 Nov., 1966], No. 49422/66. Heading B7D. In a road vehicle having tandem axles suspended by longitudinal leaf springs, adjusting screws 36 are provided at each axle seat for moving the axle longitudinally of the spring. A leaf or plate 32 at the bottom of each spring has angled ends 34 threaded to receive the screws 36 which are rotated to displace the axle after first slackening the nuts 40 securing U-bolts 6.
