Abstract
1,219,423. Conveyer systems. KRAMPE & CO. FERTIGUNG IN BERGBAUBEDARF G.m.b.H. 9 Jan., 1968 [10 Jan., 1967; 20 April, 1967], No. 1251/68. Heading B7L. [Also in Division B8] A suspension arrangement for pulleys serving to guide the operating rope of an overhead trolley conveyer comprises a cross beam 2 which at each end carries a pulley gate, the latter at one end having a pair of pulleys 12, 13 resiliently deflectable apart to permit the passage therethrough of a trolley support arm 11. The deflectable pulley gate is pivoted at 16 to the beam 2 and comprises pulley cages 12a, 13a coupled together at one side by a leaf spring 14, facilitating closing of the gate when an arm 11 has passed. The other end of the beam 2 mounts either another gate as described or one comprising two hinged cages 7, 8 for pulleys 7a, 8a, carried by a disc 5. The latter is provided with a series of holes, each of which may be brought into alignment with a hole 6 in the beam 2 and a pin passed thereinto to locate the gate at a desired angle to the beam.
