Abstract

1,205,915. Agricultural scarifier. EISENWERK GEB FRISCH K.G. AUGSBURG. 16 July, 1969 [29 Aug., 1968], No. 35742/69. Heading A1B. A ground scarifier for mounting on a tractor comprises a transverse cross beam 8 preferably of hollow box section supported on pivot arms 7, scarifying teeth 17 attached in tooth holders 16 rigidly or (as shown), pivotally mounted on the cross beam on axles 15, lifting cylinders 13 pivoted to swivel arms and fixed on the cross beam, at least one vibrator 18 carried by the cross beam and resiliently sprung metal bearing bushes provided between the tractor and implement on the connecting axles 4 and 10. The vibrators are preferably located inside the cross beam with adjacent vibrators inter-connected by rods 20, 21 (not shown) to form pairs whose relative phase can be adjusted to alter the resultant vibrational amplitude.
