Abstract

1,203,738. Suspended ceiling. ARMSTRONG CORK CO. 31 March, 1969 [29 March, 1968], No. 16622/69. Headings E1W and E2B. A hanger member 18 supporting two spaced panels 12 on its horizontal flanges and having a vertical limb 21 at one end resiliently engaged within a main support runner 25, incorporates removal means viz. bent-out tab 31 bridging side-walls of the member, engageable by the hook of a removing tool 35 whereby a downward pull on the tool results in the removal of the hanger, from the runner. In another embodiment the integral vertical limb 21 is replaced by a separate L-shaped member the horizontal limb of which provides the hook engagement means.
