1452827 Hangers for suspended ceilings PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 12 Nov 1973 [15 Nov 1972] 52375/73 Heading E1W A hanger comprises a U-shaped resilient strip 10 adapted to clamp a suspension rod 25, and an elongate hanger strip 1 adapted to support a framework member 3 from its lower end and formed with a cut out portion 4 adjacent its other end which has oppositely directed projections 6, 7 adjacent its mouth and a flange 9 directed towards the mouth from the inner edge of the cut out portion. The resilient strip 10 has opposite slots 11, 12 formed in its side arms adjacent the base 13 into which the projections 6, 7 fit.
