Abstract

1,202,021. Carrier bags. PAPPERSTEKNIK AB. 4 Feb., 1969 [9 Feb., 1968], No. 6010/69. Heading A4G. A carrier bag is formed of two layers 3, 2 of soft, heat sealable plastics foil sandwiched between which is a sheet of reinforcing Kraft paper extending across the bag bottom and up to opposite walls, the bag when opened up from a flattened condition having a square bottom formation 22 and plastics foil 3 extending either side of the paper 5 and folded to form end bag-sides 6, 7, with weld seams 11, 12. The foil 3 may extend above the top of the paper 5 and be secured folded over at 13. Two-layer, folded over hand hole members 14 may be welded at 15 to both sides of each wall 18.
