Abstract

1,202,005. Expansible bracelets. TEXTRON Inc. 3 March, 1969 [6 Aug., 1968], No. 11214/69. Heading A3H. A link, for use in an expansible bracelet comprising two rows of staggered links, has inner and outer walls 11C, 11B, accommodating a spring 15, the end portions of which are supported by the inner wall and the central portion of which urges towards the outer wall a leg 13A of a connecting member. 13 connected to a link of the other row. Top links may be covered by ornamental shells 14 and are pivotally connected with the two adjacent links of the bottom row by four U-shaped connecting members 13 having transversely extending legs 13A, 13B. Alternatively only one layer of links may contain springs, the other row being rotatably attached to the connecting members which may be rectangular or C-shaped.
