Abstract
1,200,516. Waste heat steam generators. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. 29 April, 1968 [5 May, 1967], No. 20154/68. Heading F4A. A steam generator including an economizer 4, an evaporator 6 and a superheater 8 disposed downstream of a burner 10 in the path of hot gaseous products of combustion, e.g. gas turbine exhaust gases, has a further heat recovery element 26, connected in parallel with at least part of the flow path through the economizer, evaporator and superheater, disposed upstream of the burner. The element 26 may be an evaporator. An economizer, evaporator and superheater in a circuit including a separate drum and pump may be provided upstream of the burner.
