Abstract

1,200,498. Stackable and nestable crates. BOUCHER-GTLES & CO. Ltd. 9 Oct., 1968 [12 Dec., 1967], No. 56355/67. Heading B8P. A crate 10 has bars 16 linked to its upper perimeter which pivot between a position " A ", in which they hang outside the crate to permit another crate to nest inside, and a position " B " in which the ends 20 of the bars 16 rest on the perimeter bars 12 to support another crate stacked above. The bars 16 have right angled portions 19, 22 which locate the base of a crate supported on them and can either be formed from three lengths of wire &c., welded together, as shown in Fig. 1, or be bent from one length, as shown in Fig. 4 (not shown). Longitudinal bars 14 support a nested crate.
