[Also in Division F2] A self-drilling bush for anchoring bolts is formed with grooves 4 to provide lines of weakness, the end of each groove leading into an aperture 5. Annular undercut grooves 2 and a groove 2a of uniformly curved crosssection are formed in the surface of the bush which splits along the grooves 4 when the end of the bush is expanded by a tapered plug.
