Abstract

A wall comprises a concrete block layer I, a layer of insulating boards 10 separated from the blocks by an air cavity 11, and sheet-like facing elements 13 mounted on the boards, the joints between the blocks, (between the boards, and (between the (facing elements being offset in relation to each other. As shown, the boards are connected to the masonry section by blobs 12 of mortar, and-the facing elements to. the boards by adhesive. The projecting ends of wires 2 running through the blocks, are twisted together to form joints (between the frogged ends of the blocks.
