A box for individual items such as chocolates is formed with a flap 12 which lies in the plane of the rim of the walls of the finished box, the flap 12 being provided with a tongue 15, 16 which is folded over a flap 14 of an adjacent wall 11, the tongue part 16 being fixed to the bottom of the box. The side walls adjacent to the wall 11 are each formed by two portions 21, 22 and a flap 23 which is fixed to the bottom of the box, a flap 24 engaging under the flap 12.
