Abstract

1,158,040. Egg cartons. BRODRENE HARTMANN A.S. 15 Dec., 1967 [22 Dec., 1966], No. 57112/67. Heading B8P. A moulded egg carton comprises lower and upper portions 1O, 12 hinged together and releasably interconnected by a hook-shaped projection 28 on the lower portion which cooperates with a rib provided in the upper portion 12 and which engages in an aperture 30 in the upper portion, the edge 34 of the lower portion extending downwardly on either side of the projection and the rib comprising a depending collar 36 in front of and to both sides of the aperture. The portions 10, 12 may be hinged along a longitudinal side of the box in which case two projections and two apertures are provided on the side of the box.
