Abstract
1,191,491. Reciprocating conveyer or screen. BADISCHE MASCHINENFABRIK G.m.b.H. 17 July, 1967, No. 32818/67. Heading B8A. [Also in Divisions B2 and F2] A reciprocating conveyer or screen 1 is carried by counterweight 3 supported by rubber blocks 17, the connections between 1 and 3 at 6 and 7 being formed of alternate metal and rubber layers. The conveyer 1 is driven by eccentric rotating masses 23 driven from motor 25, the vibrations from the masses being fed into counterweight 3 through springs 35, again formed of alternate metal and rubber layers. The masses 23 and motor 25 are supported by rubber blocks 26. Operation.-Vibrations produced by eccentric masses 23 are fed via springs 35 to counterbalance 3 which feeds them via springs 6 and 7 to reciprocating conveyer or screen 1. Constant amplitude (Fig. 4).-Bar 41 is secured to counterweight 3 and is dispersed between and spaced from V-chamfered rubber springs 42 secured at 43 to conveyer 1. If the amplitude of conveyer 1 increases, bar 41 compresses a spring 42 to automatically diminish the amplitude by increasing the springing.
