Abstract

1,180,563. Scaffolding. KWIKFORM Ltd. 1 March, 1968 [10 Dec., 1966], No. 55408/66. Heading E1S. Scaffolding for bricklayers is made up from prefabricated Z-shaped frames 11, 12, 13, the cross member 13 of each frame being connected to the lower upright 11 near its upper end to prevent the upper end 11a thereof impeding the bricklayers, and to the upper upright 12 near its lower end so that the upright 12 acts as a guard rail support, spigoted ledgers 18 and 19 being employed to connect adjacent frames together and to act as guard rails. The frames have upper spigots 26, and are supported, on bases 23, in combination with uprights 22.
