Abstract

1,175,315. Forming fibrous webs. R. DILO. 26 Aug., 1968 [25 Aug., 1967], No. 40634/68. Headings D1F and D1N. A multi-layer fibre web is produced by sucking fibres of different qualities fed from containers 6 by rollers 9 into a sieve drum or perforated belt moving beneath the containers, the web being compacted and discharged by drawing-off rollers 11. The fibres in the containers 6 may be of different colours. The spacing of the toothed rollers 9 is adjustable. In order to mix the colours the web may be disintegrated by an opener arranged downstream of the drum or belt.
