[Also in Division F2] A device for tensioning and securing strapping 7 for holding articles in position comprises two, parallel, space apart arms 2, 3 extending transversely to a lever 1 and near one end thereof, both of the arms being integral with or fixedly secured to the lever, and the end of the lever remote from the arms being placed at an angle to the length of the lever so as to be engaged under the strapping in the tensioned position thereof. The arms may be short rods welded to the lever and have a bar 4 welded to the outer ends thereof, or formed by bending, the end of rod into rectangular shape, or the lever and arms may forged in one piece.
