Abstract
1,171,725. Bread slicing appliance. P. W. L. LOCKE. 8 Oct., 1968 [16 May, 1968], No. 23259/68. Heading A4C. A bread slicing appliance comprises a base 1 on which are mounted two sets of vertical knife guides 3 which are secured to slide brackets 4 which may be arranged to fold down, the upper ends of the knife guides are splayed and of each pair of strips one is longer than the other to facilitate insertion of a knife; an adjustable abutment member 9, in the form of a rectangular block, is secured to a slide bracket 10 which enables the block to be adjusted in order to vary the thickness of the slice.
