Abstract

1,170,743. Securing upholstery. HUMBER Ltd. 2 Dec., 1966 [3 Sept., 1965], No. 37794/65. Heading A4M. A seat cover 12, 16 is secured to a plastics cushion 11 by engagement of a male member 21, with a base 22 welded to the cover and an arrowhead shaped end 21, in a channel section member 18, with inturned flange 19 secured within a groove in the cushion. A plastics pad 23 in the base of the channel 18 ensures that the arrowhead 21 and the lips 19 are positibely engaged with one another.
