Abstract

1,169,567. Felt nib pens. PARKER PEN CO. 28 Nov., 1966 [29 Nov., 1965], No. 53206/66. Heading A4K. A cartridge re-fill for a felt nib pen is fitted with an integral porus writing tip 42, which is preferably covered by an impervious sheath (78), extending over hole 66 to prevent evaporation during storage. The porus tip 42 may be fibrous or of compacted particles coalesced or otherwise held together. Locating shoulders (52, 74) are held in engagement, to determine the relative position of the members, by a compression spring. A non- capillary groove 68 lies between ribs (70, 72) to provide an air channel extending to the rear of cellulose acetate wadding 75.
