Abstract
1,169,491. Organopolysiloxane composition. BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK A.G. 21 Feb., 1968 [22 Feb., 1967], No. 8380/68. Heading C3T. An anti-foam composition comprises a clear homogeneous liquid mixture of: (I) a polydimethylsiloxane oil having a viscosity of 3 to 300,000 centistokes at 20‹ C.; and (II) at least one aliphatic triester of phosphoric acid having 3 to 6 carbon atoms in each aliphatic radical; (I) constitutes from 0À1 to 30% by wt. of (I) and (II). (II) May contain at most one hydroxyl group in each aliphatic radical and at most one ether oxygen atom in each aliphatic radical. An optional third ingredient (III) is a saturated C 14-22 monocarboxylic aliphatic acid. In this case I is present at 0À1 to 30% of (III) and (III) comprises up to 20% by wt. of (I), (II) and (III). The composition may additionally comprise at least one emulsifier at up to 67% of the weight of (I), (II) and (III). Examples of (II) are triisobutyl phosphate and tri-n-butyl phosphate.
