Abstract

1,160,563. Web roll dispensers. EASTMAN KODAK CO. 29 Sept, 1966 [4 Oct., 1965], No. 43581/66. Heading A4G. A web dispensing cartridge comprises a substantially cylindrical casing formed of two identical portions 12, 14 sealed together by side and end flanges 18, 18<SP>1</SP>, but with side flanges 38, 38<SP>1</SP> left unsealed and light-tight to permit the dispensing of e.g. film 44 via slit 30, rectangular knees 20, 20<SP>1</SP> being formed on the cylindrical casing, spaced from its ends, whereby the flanges 18, 18<SP>1</SP> and the knee 20<SP>1</SP> allow the cartridge to be positioned in a housing 40, 42 for supporting a rectangular cartridge.
