Valve-gear.-To prevent chattering of the valve-gear, supplementary cams engage spring-pressed levers a or a<1> when the normal cams are out of action. The supplementary cams b, b<1> shown in Fig. 1 are mounted upon a pair of disks and are equal in number to the normal cams for a four-cylinder engine having separate cams for inlet and exhaust.
