Abstract

1,156,268. Reciprocating harrow. AMAZONEN-WERKE H. DREYER. 11 April, 1968 [13 April, 1967], No. 17510/68. Heading A1B. A reciprocating harrow comprises one or more transversely reciprocating tined beams 4, 4<1> driven by the power take-off of the towing vehicle, the rotary movement of the power take-off being converted into rotary oscillating movement by driving elements assembled in a closed housing 2 which forms part of the frame. The driving elements include a swash plate and crank rod drive. The beams 4, 4<1> are pivotally connected together and to the frame 3, 3<1> by links 14, 14<1> and to the output shaft of the drive unit 2 by link 12. A step-up or step-down gear and a flywheel may be provided in front of the drive unit.
