Abstract

1,151,486. Burners. KOPPERS-WISTRAOFENBAU G.m.b.H. 19 April, 1968 [22 April, 1967], No. 18573/68. Heading F4T. A burner for supplying hot gases to a furnace has a torus-shaped chamber 4 surrounding a nozzle 6 having an annular gap 7 for the supply of fuel gas to an annular, radially extending slot 9 and a flat deflector plate 10 supported on a tube 12 to form with a collar 8 a radially extending annular slot 11 for the supply of air so that the fuel gas and air streams emerging from the slots are intermixed and recirculated in the chamber 4.
