Abstract

1,143,377 Bracelet fastenings. W. J. GRANT, D. L. MAY and G. W. A. VICKERS [trading as MONOMIL]. 25 Jan., 1968 [25 May, 1967], No. 24359/67. Heading E2A. A snap fastening for a bracelet comprising hinged arcuate strips 8, 9 consists of two similar end sections 11, 12 having a hook and a cut away portion, the strips 8 and 9 being stressed laterally during securing the fastening as each hook snap engages a cut away portion. Each fastening section is secured to the inner surface of an end portion of a strip and has a flange 19 fitting over the edges of the strips. The end portion of one or both strips may be inclined to prevent a hook abutting an end portion and so preventing the fastening of the bracelet.
