Abstract
114,322. Shiner, A. E. Feb. 23, 1917. Movable - abutment type; discharge and suction passages for pumps.-A rotary pump of the kind comprising a sliding-rocking abutment J of pendulum shape mounted on an eccentric H keyed to a shaft G has an outlet for the fluid formed by a channel Q in the stem K' of the pendulum opening into the pump chamber at a point in the stem adjacent to the pendulum bob. The casing is provided with inlet and outlet ports P, R respectively. Instead of ending above in a cylindrical enlargement, the stem K<1> may slide between rocking segments housed in recesses in the slot B.
