Abstract

1,142,601. Gas meters. PARKINSON COWAN Ltd. June 15, 1966 [June 17, 1965], No. 25754/65. Heading G1R. In a dry gas meter in which a partition 4 divides the main casing into two parts, one part contains the reciprocating valves 10 for distributing the gas flow to measuring chambers 6 and the other part contain the flange rods 18, the measuring chambers 6 and link arms 26, 28 which arms 26, 28 are connected to a rotary shaft 22 passing through a stuffing box 30 in the partition 4 and connected to links 28 connected to the distributing valves 10 on the other side of the partition.
