Abstract
1,141,833. Sugar cane mills. FAIRYMEAD SUGAR CO. Ltd. 2 Feb., 1966 [2 Feb., 1965], No. 4631/66. Heading A4C. A knife for a rotary sugar cane mill comprises an elongated blade holder 12 adapted to be fastened at end 13 to a central hub and carrying at its other end a rectangular blade 11, sharpened on all four edges and bolted to a stepped-down portion 18 of the blade holder such that it can be secured to extend across the holder at the same angle in any one of four attitudes so that either end of each of the two longitudinal edges may constitute the operative leading cutting edge.
