Abstract

1,139,166. Dressing tables. E. SCHNETZER. 23 Nov., 1967 [28 Nov., 1966; 29 Dec., 1966], No. 53430/67. Heading A4H. A dressing table comprises a box 1 and a lid 5 for the box, a cosmetic container 7 and a table top 9 all pivoted to a metal tube 4 projecting upwardly from the box. The table top 9 serves as the lid of the cosmetic container. A mirror 12 is pivotally mounted on the upper end of rod 10 which is rotatable and vertically adjustable in the upper end of the tube 4. The upper section of the rod 10 may be replaced by a flexible tube. A pivoted lamp 13 is arranged on the mirror. A frame 14 for holding paper tissues is attached by a magnet to the container 7. The metal tube 4 may be pivoted to the box 1. In a modification the circularly curved base (21, Fig. 3) of a seat is seated on a projecting edge of the box 1 and a concave mirror (28) is mounted by a ball joint (27) on the upper end of a flexible tube (26) forming the upper end of a rigid tube (25) removably secured to the seat.
