Abstract

1,138,032. Vehicle loading. WEEKS & CO. (ENGINEERS) Ltd. 14 Dec., 1967 [24 Feb., 1967], No. 8930/67. Heading B8E. Vehicle 1 supports carrying unit 7 pivotally at 4 and the latter unit is caused to be elevated by means of arms 5 pivoted at 5a and operated by a fluid cylinder 6 carried by vehicle 1, and by four fluid cylinders 21 which engage the shaft 14 which carries the pairs of wheels 18, 19 on which the unit 7 runs. In this way the carrying unit 7 engages and carries thereon a pallet (not shown) when raised.
