1,135,881. Tunnelling machines. NAUCHNOISSLEDOVATELSKY I PROEKTNO-KONSTRUKTORSKY INSTITUT PODZEMNOI GIDRAVLIGHESKOI DOBYCHI UGLYA. 25 Feb., 1966, No. 8377/66. Heading E1F. The predetermined axially and radially movements respectively of a pilot boring assembly and disc cutter carriers mounted on the rotary head of a tunnelling machine are controlled through a hydraulic circuit involving swash plate driven pumps delivering equal amounts of pressurised hydraulic fluid per revolution of the head to associated jacks controlling the advance of the assembly and carriers.
