Abstract

1,130,625. Magnetically retained relays. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP. 15 July, 1966 [21 July, 1965]. No. 31899/66. Heading H1N. A remanent relay which may or may not be polarized has its operating coil made of remanent material. In the polarized relay shown a toroidal permanent magnet 2 and coil 3 of remanent material surround a sealed magnetic reed contact unit 1. More than one contact unit may be provided and the coil may be in two portions, one on each side of the magnet. The coil may be of interleaved tape or wire.
