Abstract

1,119,567. Pipe joints. COMPAGNIE GENERALE D'ELECTRICITE. 7 Dec., 1965 [8 Dec., 1964], No. 51899/65. Heading F2G. [Also in Division H1] A coupling for circular waveguides 1, 11 comprises a sleeve 6 surrounding the abutting ends of the guides and serving to align their axes. A clamp for the joint comprises a pair of screw-threaded annuli 2, 7 which exert axial pressure on the guides through rings 4, 9 lying in grooves 3, 10. Seals 5, 8 are inserted between the rings and the bevelled edges of the sleeve 6. Protective coverings 13 extend over the joint.
