The mixture is forced through the outlet pipe 10 by compressed air fed through piping 11 passing through the shaft and ending in an outlet 12, and the shaft is formed at its downstream end with a bi-conical part 6, 7 forming with the conical part 2 of the housing a restriction to deter backflow from the air outlet 12. The part 6, 7 also has spiral blades 8 and further blades 9 to clean the inside of the housing. The outlet 12 may be moved longitudinally by a rack and sector 13, 26. Sand and cement are fed from a hopper 14 through a batcher 15 and water is supplied through a meter 16 and pipe 23. A water inlet 21 and outlet 22 are provided for cleaning purposes.
