Abstract

1,108,510 Delivering measured quantities of liquid. AEROSOL INVENTIONS & DEVELOPMENTS S.A. 20 March, 1967 [21 March, 1966] No. 12902/67. Heading B8N. [Also in Division F1] A push-button aerosol dispenser comprises a hollow stem 12 having a valve seat 24 for a valve member 19 connected to a flexible portion 21 of a cap 17, the cap being cylindrical and enclosed in a metal cover 28. The stem 12 is provided with a valve member 7 and an inlet opening 11. In operation, the valve members 19, 7 are maintained in correct alignment by means of the cover 28 and an extension 27 on the valve member 19; by varying the length of the extension the volume of a measuring chamber 30 may be altered.
