1,107,890. Knitted fabrics. R. BITZER. 17 Feb.. 1965 [17 Feb., 1964]. No. 6774/65. Heading D1K. The plush loops 15a of Turkish or Terry towelling are formed from threads 15-18 knitted in with basic threads 11-14, the plush loop threads of one row of stitches being firmly entwined in the bases of the stitches and the tops of the adjacent lower row of stitches so that the plush loops extend downwardly at the back of the fabric. Similar or ordinary Terry loops may be provided on the opposite face of the fabric in each row of stitches or in different rows or the loops may be omitted from some rows.
