[Also in Division A4] The locking mechanism, for a vehicle seat back of adjustable inclination, includes pawls 15, at either side of the seat, having slots 17, in which the cranked ends of an operating shaft 18 engage with cam action. The shaft 18 is movable, by handle 19, from a deadcentre locking position, at one end of slot 17, to a releasing position, at the other end of the slot.
