Abstract
1,103,981. Building blocks. M. A. MAY. 11 Feb., 1966 [22 April, 1965], No. 17086/65. Heading E1B. A wall block comprises spaced parallel slabs 1, 2 connected by cast in hooked-end metal bars 3, the slabs being of unequal length whereby the blocks may be butted together in either of two dispositions to form either a curved or, Fig. 3 (not shown), a straight cavity wall. The cavity is subsequently filled with concrete. Each slab may have its ends bevelled as shown or otherwise shaped to leave recesses 10 receiving the concrete filling. Alternatively, Figs. 1, 2 (not shown) the slab ends may be square.
