Abstract

110,099. Phillips, J. Feb. 22, 1917. Vehicular lanterns.-A vehicle lamp is provided with interchangeable sliding panels at the back and front with an attachment device at one side, and with a glass or other transparent device at the other. Fig. 3 shows the application to the type of lamp described in Specification 110,987. The panels c, d slide in guides b bent or pressed in one with the sides of the lamp or soldered or otherwise secured to the body of the lamp. The two panels are provided respectively with clear and coloured glass or equivalent substances, so that, with only one attachment device, such as the hook g, the lamp may be used on either side of a vehicle.
