Abstract

352,130. Vehicle lamps. GRIEVE, E., The Glebe, Selkirk. April 24, 1930, No. 12638. [Class 75 (iv).] Each of a pair of vehicle head-lights comprises a centre lamp a and two side lamps b, c, each lamp being fitted with an electric light bulb, a reflector, and a lens, the centre lamp projecting a beam of light directly forwards, and the side lamps projecting beams of light directly to the sides of the road, or to the sides and only slightly forwards, the side lamps being switched on when the centre lamp is switched off or dimmed. The lamps may be mounted on a central pillar d or within a single casing e.
