Abstract
1,096,511. Control of A.C. motors. DANFOSS A.S. Jan. 18, 1966 [Jan. 20, 1965], No. 2338/66. Heading H2J. A split-phase induction motor, e.g. in a refrigerator, has a resistor of high positive temperature co-efficient in series with the starting winding, and a switch responsive to main winding temperature either in the main winding circuit or the supply circuit.
