Abstract

A pharmaceutical composition having anti-anaemia and anti-leukopenia properties comprises batyl alcohol (a -stearyl ether of glycerol), vitamin B6, adenine (vitamin B4) and deoxyribonucleic acid. The composition is administered orally, preferably in a unit dosage form containing batyl alcohol 50 mg, DNA 75 mg., adenine 20 mg. and vitamin B6 62.5 mg., e.g. in the form of a gelule.
