Abstract

1,091,473. Diazotype materials. KEUFFEL & ESSER CO. April 1, 1966 [April 2, 1965], No. 14515/66. Heading G2C. Materials for reflex copying consist of a diazotype composition, comprising a diazonium compound capable of forming a dye with an azo coupler, disposed on a transparent support in a uniform pattern, e. g. of dots or a grid. The support may comprise a pattern on one or both sides and/or may have one surface coated with a u.v. absorber (e.g. #-methyl-umbelliferone). In the Examples, a diazotype composition comprising p-diethylaminobenzene diazonium borofluoride, 3-hydroxy-2- naphthoic acid ethanolamine hydrochloride and cellulose acetate on a cellulose acetate support is used.
