Abstract
109,080. Dale, A. A. Aug. 28, 1916. Bust-improved.-A support for the bust is made in bodice form with cross-over bands B, B<1> starting from the lower corners of the back part A and tapering towards the upper corners, to which are attached elastic straps D with inelastic continuations C. Elastic bands F, F' on the taper ends of the bands are connected by fastenings, such as hooks and eyes, to the inelastic straps C, which are in turn connected along their lower edges to the upper edges of the bands by means of pocket sections G, G<1>. The bands, which are situated below the bust and form the chief part of the support, are, by this construction, rendered largely independent, obviating deformation when the wearer bends.
