Abstract
1,087,399. Waveguide distributers. CSFCOMPAGNIE GENERALE DE TELEGRAPHIE SANS FILS. Dec. 7, 1964 [Dec. 12, 1963], No. 49790/64. Heading H1W. [Also in Division H4] In an aerial system (Fig. 1, not shown) comprising two sets of intercalated co-planar slotted waveguides each waveguide is bent at its end to connect to a header 6 (for one set) or 7 (for the other set) below it. The headers contain transition sections (Fig. 5, not shown) by which they are connected to separately fed sectoral horns 3, 4. Inside each sectoral horn is a dielectric lens 5, designed to provide a desired phase distribution across its aperture. The radiating waveguides have internal ridges and are provided with shunt slots (Fig. 2, not shown).
