Abstract

108,626. Thornton, H. Dec. 14, 1916. Rotary batch-mixers.-Rotary drums for mixing concrete, chemicals, &c., are provided with internal equal-sided V-shaped blades A, W-shaped blades B, and unequal-sided V-shaped blades C. The blades extend the full width of the drum D, and, preferably, a pair of each kind is provided. To facilitate delivery of the mixed materials into the discharge shoot E, the blades C are arranged with their apexes adjacent the discharge end of the drum.
