Abstract

1,085,278. Vehicle parking lights. HALROY PRODUCTS Ltd. March 5, 1965 [March 5, 1964], No. 9452/64. Heading F4R. A parking light for vehicles consists of a casing 1 in which is a removable unit comprising a photo-electric switching circuit and a lamp controlled thereby. The casing is made in two parts 1a, lb each having an undercut rib 2 along the adjacent edges, a flanged strip 3 sliding over the ribs to secure the halves of the casing together. Lenses 4, one clear and one coloured red, are provided on the casing opposite to a lamp (not shown), which is controlled by a photo-electric switching circuit, e.g. of the type described in Specification 1,072,394, the photoelectric cell being mounted opposite an opening 8 in the lower part of the casing. The casing is mounted by means of a clip 5 which can be hooked over the edge of a car window and is adjustable relative to the casing.
