A wheel comprises an integrally moulded or cast plastics load-bearing web 17 and hub flange 18 in which two sets of races 24, 25 are retained by a split metal tube 27 turned back at 29 about races 25. The web 17 has strengthening ribs 19 and a groove 30 for snap engagement with a rib 33 of a hub cap 31.
