Abstract

In an apparatus for the preparation of polyurethane foam, the reaction mixture is delivered continuously from a fixed mixer to a moving endless foaming bed via a pipe in such manner that the mixture is delivered substantially parallel to and in the direction of motion of the bed. In Fig. 1 (not shown), the reaction mixture from mixer 4 is delivered by pipe 3 having deflector plate 6 on bevel 5 in the direction of motion indicated by arrow 1 of trough-shaped bed 2. In Fig. 2 (not shown) the delivery tube 10 is curved and ends in nozzle 11.ALSO:In an apparatus for the preparation of polyurethane foam, the reaction mixture is delivered continuously from a fixed mixer to a moving endless foaming bed via a pipe in such manner that the mixture is delivered substantially parallel to and in the direction of motion of the bed.
